Get Started

Prerequisites

You need to have adb installed and accessible from the command line. If you’re using Android Studio, you already have it.

Otherwise, you can install it with:

brew install --cask android-platform-tools

Otherwise, you can install it with:

sudo apt-get install adb

In addition, you need to have scrcpy installed and accessible from the command line:

sudo apt-get install scrcpy

Install

brew install limbario/tap/lim

Download lim-windows-amd64.zip from here and extract it to a folder.

curl -Lo /tmp/lim https://github.com/limbario/homebrew-tap/releases/latest/download/lim-linux-amd64
chmod +x /tmp/lim
sudo mv /tmp/lim /usr/local/bin/lim

Create an Android instance

The following command will take you to the sign in page on Limbar Console and then create your Android instance.

lim run android

Open lim-run-android.bat and follow the instructions.

lim run android

Enjoy!

You should see a new window streaming the screen of your Android instance.

Cleanup

Closing the window will delete the Android instance.
